Tricentis acquires Neotys to broaden its continuous software testing capabilities

Tricentis, the worldwide leader in enterprise continuous testing announced on 30th March the acquisition of Neotys, a prominent performance testing firm. Previously in the year 2013, Tricentis and Neotys started a partnership. After that, both integrated several of their products like Tosca and NeoLoad, and also worked together to assure the mutual customer’s and partner’s success.

“We are excited to welcome the Neotys team as we join forces to accelerate enterprises’ digital transformation with automated software testing,” said Sandeep Johri, chief executive officer at Tricentis. “The combination of Tricentis and Neotys will further enable organizations to ensure consistent quality across all software releases by taking a standardized approach to delivering continuous performance, reliability, and scalability from development to production.”

NeoLoad is one of the prominent performance testing offerings available in the market for businesses striving to ascertain application response time, availability, and scalability for web, mobile, and packaged applications. It even provides testers and developers with maintenance and automatic test design, timely root cause analysis, the most practical user behavior simulation, and built-in integrations with the entire DevOps toolchain.

“We are looking forward to joining Tricentis, the industry leader in continuous testing,” said Thibaud Bussière, president and co-founder at Neotys. “Today’s Agile and DevOps teams are looking for ways to be more strategic and eliminate manual tasks and implement automated solutions to work more efficiently and effectively. As part of Tricentis, we’ll be able to eliminate laborious testing tasks to allow teams to focus on high-value analysis and performance engineering.”

Both the companies share a common motive which is to assist organizations to tackle the restrictions of legacy testing approaches to stimulate digital transformation. With this acquisition, Tricentis will further improve its AI-driven, end-to-end continuous testing platform to provide the industry’s most complete solution to substantially stimulate software delivery, curtail costs, and enhance quality across the enterprise as well as custom applications.
