About Cypress
Cypress is an automated testing platform that gives QA engineers and developers a quicker, better, and more credible way to test anything that operates in a browser. Cypress makes writing, execution, and debugging of tests simpler for developers all over the world, comprising engineering and QA teams from NBA Wayfair, Shopify, Disney, PayPal, Github, Slack, and many more.
“Software defines the speed at which business can deliver change and innovation,” said Drew Lanham, CEO at Cypress.io. “This is why companies of all sizes and industries have adopted Cypress to help build better software faster. Cypress is thrilled to accelerate our ability to innovate and ship new features to delight our users and customers.”
Developers use Cypress to adopt the “Shift Left” strategy, which is important to facilitate the fast, bug-free releases that are required by the companies to provide the continual innovation expected by their customers. Cypress will also improve its open-source products by giving developers the capability to write all kinds of tests – end-to-end, integration, component, and unit.
“Cypress came to our attention more than two years ago when we noticed both their impressive traction and how much developers loved their product,” said Blake Bartlett, partner at OpenView. “In the time since, they’ve shown how a strong product-led strategy can quickly make a company into a category leader with a customer base that spans the globe—and they’re just getting started. We are big believers in Cypress’s vision to define and drive this next era of software testing and couldn’t be more excited to partner with the team on this journey.”
The Cypress Dashboard will now organize and unify the conclusions from all testing types, giving comprehensive debugging experience for developers, actionable insights, and objective quality metrics. QA engineers and management will now continuously be working on to measure and enhance software quality.
