Automation Anywhere partners with Google Cloud to facilitate RPA adoption in the enterprises

Automation Anywhere the worldwide leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) recently announced their new partnership with Google Cloud in a strategic, multi-year collaboration to accelerate intelligent automation adoption with enterprises on a global scale. RPA tries to figure out how people execute their tasks and then use those rules to establish automated systems that can execute those roles instead of them.

With this new partnership, Automation Anywhere’s 360 platform will now be available on Google Cloud, and Automation Anywhere will become Google Cloud’s preferred RPA partner. Apart from this, both companies will mutually develop AI- and RPA-powered services.

“By partnering with Google Cloud, we can help organizations leverage intelligent automation capabilities at a massive, global scale, and dramatically decrease the amount of time that teams spend on their most common, repetitive business tasks,” said Mihir Shukla, CEO, and Co-founder, Automation Anywhere. “Intelligent Automation can be an important asset in digital transformation, particularly as global enterprises adapt to a new reality of distributed work. We’re delighted to work closely with Google Cloud to support business transformation with cloud and automation.”

New research published by Automation Anywhere stated, more than half of all companies hope to increase their investments in automation in the next year, almost 67% opting to deploy RPA in the cloud in the following 12 months, driven in part by the need for remote work solutions amidst the widespread pandemic. The company has also deployed around 2.8 million bots for some of the world’s largest companies.

“We believe that by combining Automation Anywhere ’s capabilities with Google Cloud, migrating their overall platform onto our cloud, and jointly going to market, we can bring greater value and technology to customers, scale Automation Anywhere’s business, and deliver more value to customers with RPA capabilities integrated into Google Cloud,” said Bikram Singh Bedi, managing director, Google Cloud India.

With this collaboration, Google Cloud will furthermore integrate Automation Anywhere’s RPA abilities with services such as API Platform, Appsheet, and Apigee, facilitating clients to scale the application of automation with the development of Machine Learning workflows, low- or no-code development, or API management. Moreover, the two companies will together formulate solutions that are geared specifically for industrial use, with an emphasis on healthcare, supply chains, financial services, and public sector, retail, life sciences, and telecommunications.

Automation Anywhere will likely be accessible on Google Cloud from the onset of May 2021.
